Situated between two typical French Bastide market towns, Villereal and Castillonnes. Lot et Garonne is called the 'market garden' of France and is rich in everything that is known in this country. Good food, good wine and good company!

LA CACHETTE sleeping 4 (one bedroom with double and bunk beds) is the smallest of our gites with a lounge, dining area and kitchen fitted with gas cooker, fridge and washing machine. Covered verandah with furniture and barbecue. 10x6 metre walled pool, making it safe for families with smaller children. There are two other properties at this location La Palombe and L'Atelier. All properties have gas central heating making it possible for out of season lets.

Places of Interest

The area is abundant in history with many chateaux and medieval towns - Sarlat, Monpazier and Monflanquin. Les Eyzies famous for its cave man dwellings and paintings and of course the many vineyards such as Monbazillac, St Emilion and Cahors. There are man made lakes with sandy beaches for swimming and watersports, golf at Castelnaud, Tombebouef and Chateau Vigier, horse riding, tennis and canoeing on the Dordogne. The local town of Villereal is only 5km, offering all needs for your holiday - supermarket, restaurants, bars, bakers, chemist, post office and banks, pottery shop, antique shops etc. .
